Partner Plan Section Nomenclature

By default, Allbound's Partner Plan feature generates the names for each section. They are as follows:

  1. Details
  2. Strategy
  3. Onboarding
  4. Training
  5. Sales

We purposefully named the sections as such to help you brainstorm ideas while building out a Partner Plan. Below are descriptions of each default Partner Plan section and how you can effectively use each section.

Strategy

The Strategy section should include the goals and strategy for the plan. The Headers in the Strategy section cannot be made into To-Do items as all of the tasks and goals from the other sections should all be in support of the Strategy details.

Onboarding

This section can be used for new partners as they onboard and learn more about your partner program. The onboarding section can include an unlimited number of tasks, and tasks can become To-Do items if desired.

Training

The Training section should include any tasks and goals associated to partner training, whether that is for new partner onboarding or ongoing training and certifications. This section can include an unlimited number of tasks, and tasks can be To-Do items if desired.

If you are using the Allbound Learning Tracks feature in your portal, you can assign the completion of specific Learning Tracks to partners as part of their tasks. The system will then automatically monitor Learning Track activity based on the rules you set (which Learning Track, which partners/number of partners that need to complete) and when the rule is met, the system will automatically mark the task as complete. The progress will also factor into the overall progress percentage of the plan.

Sales

The Sales section should include any tasks and goals associated to your partners Pipeline efforts and sales initiatives.

If you are using the Allbound Pipeline feature in your portal, you can use the Pipeline data to set goals and automatically measure and track progress. In the Sales Settings, you can set your partner’s Sales goals and how the system should track and monitor the progress and completion of the goal. The system will automatically monitor Pipeline activity and information based on the rules you set and update progress, including marking goals as complete. The progress will also factor into the overall progress percentage of the plan.

Sales goals can be based on the value of deals as well as the number of deals/accounts.
