Purpose
This article will show Allbound Administrator users how to change a user's password. When users receive a 403 Forbidden error message while trying to login to Allbound, this is typically due to a password that the AWS firewall is interpreting as a SQL injection. Changing the password and removing special characters resolves this issue.
There are two ways to change a user's password:
- Through the Advanced User Management table with the "Password Reset" button
- Through the back-end of the portal with the "New Password" button
How to Change a User's Password with the Advanced User Management Table
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Users"
3. Use the search bar to find your desired user and then click on their blue username
4. Within the "User Details" tab, click on the "Options" button and then click on "Reset Password" ONCE. This will trigger (1) password reset email to send to this user
How to Change a User's Password in the Back-End of the Platform
