Purpose

Learn about the Integrated Incentives Dashboard and the Incentives Management tool in Allbound. These are two separate features. They can be used together or independently.

Integrated Incentives Dashboard

For customers with a CRM Integration, Allbound supports an Integrated Incentives Dashboard feature. Since commissions can be handled by your CRM based on your partner commission/incentive earning workflow, the integration works on a trigger based system. This means that something on the CRM side must trigger the commission amount to send to the Integrated Incentives Dashboard section of Allbound. This works well for Allbound customers who have a commission structure in place in their CRM already.

  • When syncing integrated incentives from your CRM to Allbound, the calculations and formulas will be handled on the CRM side to pull a static value into the integrated incentives table.
    • The most common setup of integrated incentives is where Allbound syncs the incentive amount from a formula calculation on the CRM side that lives on the opportunity/deal in the CRM. The trigger is typically status/stage based, such as "Closed Won", and leverages the partner association from the opportunity/deal from the Allbound side.

Incentives Management (Non-Integrated)

Incentives Management is separate from the integration because it can be configured and utilized within the Allbound portal itself, outside of the CRM. This allows you to set granular criteria for partners to earn commissions based on deals and the statuses of those deals. These can be setup on a broad spectrum or a circumscribed commission plan.

Where to Access Incentives Management Settings

Disclaimer: All screenshots were taken in demo/testing environments. All of this data belongs to Allbound

1. Login to Allbound platform

2. Click on the Settings Gear in the top toolbar, then click on "Revenue Settings".

3. In Allbound Settings > Revenue Settings > Incentives > Calculation Rules, you can configure your incentives workflows. This allows you to build the foundation for your partners to earn commissions.

  • Only Administrator users of your Allbound portal can Add Incentives.
  • Partner users/subscribers cannot “Add Commissions” or change the status of commissions.
  • Only Commission approvers should be able to do this. Partners will see the commission dashboard, but do not have the ability to make changes.
  • Admins cannot approve commissions unless specified as approvers.

Setting the Trigger Schedule for commission to “Always” means that this rule is active and if
saved, it will run. If specified criteria is met, it will run the commission rule. You can set an end
date if needed, but it is not required. You can always come back in here to turn it off at a later
time.

If you schedule for the future, you must schedule a start date and end date. Cannot be
open-ended if starting in the future.
Currently, the only trigger is based on the Deal Status. In the future, there will be more triggers
put into play.

Most commonly, the value will be set to “Closed Won”. When a deal is marked as “Closed Won”
(whether that be done in Allbound or synced from the CRM to the deal in Allbound) it will trigger
the Commission rule to fire.

Then, you add your variables, such as “Partner Tier”. This is specifying who is getting the commission.

If you want to give them a percentage of the deal and a flat rate, this is how you would set that up:

Or, you can simply have it setup as a flat rate or percentage of the deal amount.
