Partner Journey Automation
Three new triggers were added to PJA to increase partner engagement:
- User has not registered a deal
- Users has not updated MDF Request
- User has not updated a lead.
These triggers allow you to nudge users who have not registered a deal, updated an MDF request, or updated a lead within the specified time period.
PJA action emails are a powerful reminder for partners to engage in the portal and keep their records updated.
User Has Not Registered a Deal Trigger
With the User has not registered a deal trigger, you can cc the partner user's Manager and/or Account Owner (Channel Account Manager) for added accountability.
You can create different workflows to suit your partner program requirements. For example:
- Platinum partners are reminded to register deals every 7 days
- Gold partners are reminded to register deals every 30 days
User Has Not Updated MDF Request Trigger
Use the User has not updated MDF Request trigger to remind users to upload their Proof of Performance if the MDF Request is in a specific status and hasn't been updated recently.
User Has Not Updated Lead Trigger
For those portals that have the legacy Leads feature enabled, you can use the User has not updated a lead trigger to nudge users that have kept a lead in specific status for too long. Portals that have re-purposed the lead object into a custom object can still utilize this new PJA trigger, though the trigger will continue to reference the Lead object.
Email Merge Tag Updates
Email recipient merge tags have been added for the following PJA workflow scenarios:
PJA Trigger |
New Email Recipient Merge Tags for Send To/Cc/Bcc |
User has created MDF request | MDF Submitter |
User has updated MDF request | MDF Submitter |
User has registered a lead | Lead Owner Email |
User has updated a lead | Lead Owner Email |
UX Updates
Minimal Dashboard
The minimal dashboard has been given a fresh, clean UX update to improve the usability of the dashboard and evoke a more modern portal experience.
Now, when viewing the dashboard using the minimal dashboard theme (set via Dashboard Settings), you'll see the following:
- Dashboard widgets: All dashboard widgets now have softer, rounded corners. This includes Hero images, Quick Links, buttons, Calendar Events, Pinned content, and Popular/New/Recently Viewed Content widgets.
- Additionally, all asset tiles within all content types (Training, Content & Resources, Playbooks, etc) have been updated to soft, rounded corners.
- Hero image buttons: The buttons used to cycle through the Hero images have been updated to be opaque to improve button visibility.
- Quick Links widget: A shadow was added to the Quick Links header and View My Channel Manager footer to draw attention to the scrollable list of quick links. The numbers were removed from each quick link since they only represented the order from the top to bottom and did not provide any other value. Arrows were added to each quick link to urge the user to click.
- Buttons: The hover effect for buttons was updated to a soft shadow and button outline instead of a harsh inverse of colors. Button content is now aligned top instead of centered and button arrows have been updated for consistency with the Quick Link arrows.
- Calendar Events: Now, if you have the calendar events widgets enabled but there are no upcoming calendar events, the entire widget is hidden on the dashboard so that the user does not see an orphaned Calendar Events header without any events.
- Content widgets: The numbers for all Content (Popular Content, New Content, and Recently Viewed) have been removed. Arrows were added to urge the user to click and for consistency with buttons and Quick Links.
Portal Header and Profile Menu
The portal header UX has been updated for improved usability and consistency:
- The Profile menu was moved to the far right of the header and the current logged-in user's name and gamification points have been moved from the header to the Profile menu itself
- The order of the icons has been updated
- A tooltip is now displayed on hover of all icons for consistency.
Additionally, the Profile menu has been updated to match the updated style of the Settings menu and the Allbound Settings menu option has been removed.
Now, the Profile menu displays the following UX updates:
- The user's Profile photo, first and last name, and gamification points are displayed at the top of the Profile menu
- Profile menu options are now categorized by:
- Profile
- Gamification
- Support
- Each menu option now displays descriptive text so users no longer have to click the menu item to understand what functions are available
- Allbound University and Help Center menu options display external link icons to indicate they open in a new tab.
Settings Menu
The Settings menu has been further updated to improve usability.
Now, the Settings menu contains the following:
- View All button: A View All button is displayed at the top of the menu and redirects you to /allbound-settings/ where you can view all Settings using the tile view
- Advanced category: A new Advanced category has been added reducing the number of Configure items and separating out advanced settings that may require assistance from Allbound Support.
