Purpose
This article explains how to create and use Learning Tracks as an Allbound Administrator user. Also listed are our best practices and frequently asked questions.
Introduction
A Learning Track is a collection of similar-themed individual pieces of content combined into one module. They are used to train and onboard your partner users about your company and your product solution.
Learning Tracks should accomplish these goals:
- Introduce and onboard your new partner users
- Guide partners with training(s) and other resources to help them grow and evolve within your company
- Offer unique and specialized content to the distinct needs of your different partner types and/or user Groups
- Include brief Quizzes to ensure retention of information Learn How to Create Quizzes
All of your Learning Tracks are housed within the "Training & Presales" repository in your portal.

- In order to achieve a 100% Completion Rate for a learning track, a user should always click the "View Now" button within each piece of content
- Utilize Static and/or Dynamic Groups to assign learning tracks for specific users within your portal
- All pieces of content included in a Learning Track must be set to "Public" visibility for users to achieve the 100% completion rate
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can we put a learning track inside of another learning track?
A. Unfortunately, at this time, this is not allowed
Q. If an individual piece of content is in multiple learning tracks, do users have to view the piece in each learning track? Or does the portal recognize that the piece was previously viewed?
A. If the piece of content is viewed even in multiple learning tracks, it shows as complete. So, the portal does recognize the piece being previously viewed. Users do not have to view the piece within each separate learning track.
Q. Can we re-name the Learning Track title to something else within the "Training & Pre-Sales" repository?
A. Yes, you can re-name the Learning Track title. Please submit a ticket to our Support team for this task
Q. If a piece of content within a Learning Track has an attached video asset, does the portal automatically track/calculate a video's completion rate?
A. Yes, the portal automatically tracks/calculates a video completion rate. Users can click into a Learning Track and then click on "Step 1" to begin the Learning Track. If one of the steps to the Learning Track is a piece of content with a video asset, the user must click the "View Now" button and watch 90% of said video to achieve a 100% completion rate for the piece of content and this also applies towards the completion rate of the Learning Track
Q. Regarding the 90% video completion rate, does this apply if a video asset is external to the Allbound platform. For example, if the video share link is from Vimeo or YouTube?
A. Yes, the portal requires a 90% video completion rate regardless of the video's origin; whether that be Vimeo, YouTube, an MP4 file, etc.
