Partner Journey Automation

Two new enhancements were made to PJA to increase partner engagement:

  1. User has not submitted a form trigger
  2. Ability to filter by Group Name added to all triggers

User Has Not Submitted a Form Trigger

Use the new User has not submitted a form trigger to nudge users that have not submitted a form (or quiz since quizzes are forms) within a specified time frame.

For example, if you added a new, mandatory field to the Company Form - Admin and requested Partner Managers and Executives to update their company record, you could create a PJA trigger for:

  • User has not submitted a form, Company Form - Admin, in the past 30 days
  • filtered by users whose Primary Company Partner Role is Manager or Executive

Filter by Group Name

Previously, the ability to filter by Group Name was not available, and System Admins wanting to target actions for specific groups had to recreate the dynamic group rules using User fields and Company fields.

Now, Group Name has been added to the top of the Filters list and allows users to easily and quickly select a group to filter by. To filter by Group Name:

  1. Select the applicable Group Name field in the Filters dropdown
    • Note: this dropdown is dynamic based on the selected trigger. The Group Name displayed may vary based on the context of the trigger but they all refer to Group Name. For example:
      • User Group Name (displayed when the trigger is related to the User only)
      • Form Source User Group Name (displayed when the trigger is related to forms)
      • Content Source User Group Name (displayed when the trigger is related to content)
      • Deal Owner Group Name (displayed when the trigger is related to deals)
      • MDF Owner Group Name (displayed when the trigger is related to MDF requests)
      • etc
  2. Select Equals or Not Equals as the operator
  3. Search and select the static or dynamic Group from the third dropdown.

For example, to trigger an action when Platinum EMEA users register a deal, the System Admin needs to simply filter by the Group Name "Platinum EMEA Users" instead of filtering based on the dynamic group criteria.

Co/Labs

Co/Labs allows partners to collaborate with all users associated with their primary company, including Account Owners. Previously, partner users that wanted to collaborate with MDF Approvers could not easily do so using Co/Labs since MDF Approvers are typically users within the vendor company but do not "own" accounts like Channel Account Managers and therefore are not likely to be associated to multiple partner companies like CAMs.

Now, we've enhanced the Co/Lab invitation process to automatically include all users that have the MDF Approver admin permission, regardless of if they are associated with the partner's company.

This enhancement allows for increased collaboration around MDF without having to manually associate MDF Approvers with all partner companies.

To invite an MDF Approver to a new Co/Lab:

  1. Create a new Co/Lab
  2. In the Invite Others to Join dropdown, search for "MDF Approver" to filter the list of users to just those users that have MDF Approver admin permission. Select one or more MDF Approvers.
  3. Click Create Co/Lab.

Note: MDF Approvers can be invited to existing Co/Labs by navigating to the existing Co/Lab, clicking the Invite link/button, and performing step 2 above.
