Purpose
This instructional article outlines how you as Allbound Administrator users can customize the Classic Allbound Dashboard.
*Note: These steps excluding "Pin Content" can only be completed if you are an Allbound Administrator user with the "System Settings" permission checked in your user profile settings
Customizing Slider Images
How to Add a Slider Image
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Dashboard Settings"
3. Click on the "Slider Images" tab
4. Click on the "Add Image" button and then scroll to the bottom of page
5. Click on the down-arrow icon next to the trash can icon to expand the editing functionalities
6. To add an image, click the "Browse" button next to the image field. From here, you may upload an image from your computer, or you may select an existing one from your Allbound Media Library
7. Fill out the fields with information such as image description, image nickname, button link, Group visibility, etc.
How to Edit a Slider Image
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Dashboard Settings"
3. Click on the "Slider Images" tab
4. Click on the down-arrow icon next to the trash can icon to expand the editing functionalities
5. Update the fields with new information such as image description, image nickname, button link, Group visibility, etc.
6. To rearrange the order of Slider Images, click and drag the two-dot rows at the top of each box
Slider (Images) Options
To disable the slider images entirely on the dashboard, uncheck the "Enable Dashboard Slider" option. Choose either a "Small Slider" or "Large Slider" size to display on your dashboard.
Call to Action Dashboard Buttons
*Note: the Call to Action Buttons are displayed below the Slider Image(s)
How to Add a Call to Action Dashboard Button
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Dashboard Settings"
3. Click on the "Buttons" tab
4. Click on the "Add Button" button and then scroll to the bottom of page
5. Click the down-arrow icon next to the trash can icon to expand the editing functionalities
6. Fill out the fields with information such as button nickname, button title, button link, and Group visibility
How to Edit a Call to Action Dashboard Button
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Dashboard Settings"
3. Click on the "Buttons" tab
4. Click the down-arrow icon next to the trash can icon to expand the editing functionalities
5. To rearrange the order of Buttons, click and drag the two-dot rows at the top of each box
Calendar Events
*Note: Calendar Events are displayed below the Call to Action Dashboard Button(s)
How to Toggle On Calendar Events for the Classic Dashboard
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Dashboard Settings"
3. Within the "Themes and Widgets" tab, click the checkbox next to the "Calendar events" field to toggle on the Calendar events widget
*Note: When you click on this tile, it will re-direct you to the Calendar Event Overview
How to Create and Edit Calendar Events
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Content"
3. Click on the "Calendar" tile and then click on the "Add Calendar" button
4. Similar to a new piece of content, fill out all necessary information for the new event you would like to add, (Ex. Start and End Date, Event Description, Featured Image, Event Link, Gamification, Group Visibility, etc.) To save your changes, click the "Publish" button
Pinning Content
*Note: all Allbound users can pin content to their dashboard
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click the Push Pin icon to pin a piece of content to your Dashboard page for easy access
