How to Change the Company Association for a User

Purpose

This article will outline the steps for Allbound Administrator users for how to change the company of a user within the Allbound portal.

 

Instructions

1. Login to the Allbound platform

2. Click on the Settings Gear icon within the top toolbar and then click on "Users"

3. Search for and then click on your desired User's blue user name

4. Within the User's profile, click on the "Company Associations" tab and then click on "Add Association"

5. A pop-up window will emerge. Click into the "Company" field and then start typing out the name of the company you wish to associate

6. From the "Role" drop-down menu, choose which Allbound partner user role for this company association

7. Click the "Add" button to save your changes

 

The new company will be added to the company associations table.

8. Click on the 3-dot icon within the Company Associations table row and then click "Set as Primary"

9. To delete an old Company Association, click on the 3-dot icon within the Company Associations table and then click "Delete"

 

If You Are Integrated with Salesforce

1. Login to the Allbound platform

2. Click on the Settings Gear icon within the top toolbar and then click on "Users"

3. Search for and then click on your desired User's blue user name

4. Within the User's profile, click on the "User Details" tab

5. Clear the contents of the "CRM ID" field to make it blank

6. Click the "Save" button and then wait 5-10 minutes for it to sync with Salesforce

7. After 5-10 minutes, you will see a new CRM ID in this field which means the change is now synced with your Salesforce
