Purpose

This article provides best practices for using and the customizing the Allbound minimal dashboard.

Introduction

Your Allbound dashboard should seamlessly and strategically guide your partners through the portal. Upload and create attention-grabbing Hero Images, Quick Links, Call to Action Buttons, etc. for your partners so they may interact daily with your portal. We recommend updating your dashboard elements once a quarter to keep it fresh and engaging to all of your portal users.

Hero Images

  • Hero images are a great way to catch your partners’ attention whenever they log into the portal. You can help direct your partners to new resources and limited-time offers with an engaging graphic and specific copy
  • If you have uploaded multiple Hero Images to your portal, we recommend toggling on the "Auto rotation of header images" setting to enhance your partner user's experience with the dashboard
  • We recommend that Hero Images be pertinent to your company's news or highlight the most important portal features for your partner users. Some examples of Hero Images include:

    • A "Welcome!" image
    • Seasonal promotions
    • New product, training, or event promotions
    • Your company's news, updates, or release notes
    • New resources to support your partner's businesses
    • New partner rewards, benefits, commissions, or plans

Quick Links

  • Quick Links are a collection of links to important pages, information, and more, allowing partners to find what they need quickly or complete common actions. Consider linking to pages your partners frequent the most or often struggle to find. Some example of Quick Links include:

    • Deal registration or lead registration
    • Event calendar
    • Partner onboarding, program essentials, welcome kit or walk-through video
    • Help resources or support links
    • FAQ
    • Product news or release notes
    • Marketing plan or marketing tools
    • Pricing
    • Feedback or contact form
    • Your company's website

  • Quick Links can be linked to material internal or external of Allbound

Call to Action Buttons

  • Call to Action buttons are perfect for sharing a new or short-term call to actions you want to draw extra attention to for your partner users. Some example of Call to Actions include:

    • Partner training & certifications
    • Sales or marketing playbooks
    • Quick start or onboarding resources
    • Commissions or benefits
    • New product releases
    • Reward systems

  • We recommend adding a subtitle, description, and a link to each button to engage your portal users

Navigation Panel

  • You have the option to rename all of the navigational panel tabs (excluding the Dashboard tab) per your company's jargon. Please discuss with your Implementation Specialist or your Customer Success Manager to rename. For example...
    • Content & Resources > Content Library, Marketing Resources, etc.
    • Pipeline > Deal Registration, Revenue, Funnel, etc.
    • Training & Pre-Sales > Training Library, Internal Content, etc.
    • Calendar > Events
    • Playbooks > Folders, Template Folders, Templates, etc.
  • You have the option to reorganize all of the navigational panel tabs (excluding the Dashboard tab.) For example, you can move the Pipeline tab above the Content & Resources tab. Please discuss with your Implementation Specialist or submit a Support Ticket to our team to reorganize

Portal Segmentation

  • We recommend attaching Dynamic and/or Static Group Visibility to all of your dashboard elements to segment and assign your dashboard elements to certain partner users. For example, create a Dynamic Group for your reseller partners. Attach Group Visibility to the dashboard elements that are only pertinent to your reseller partners
