Incentives & Payments
We've added functionality to the Incentives & Payments modules and user incentives can now be paid in addition to payments directly to partners.
User Payments
Payments previously could only be sent directly to partners; however, users can now be paid to further incentivize performance.
Users can now be selected as the payment recipient.
Additionally, once incentives are selected for payment, an icon indicates whether the payment is to the partner or the user.
Partner Journey Automation
Additional enhancements have been made to PJA to increase partner engagement:
- New 'User has Completed External Certification' trigger
- New 'Is Empty / Is Not Empty trigger' trigger filter operators
- New 'Has Changed / Has Changed To / Has Changed to Empty' trigger filter operators
- New 'Award Gamification Points' action
User has Completed External Certification Trigger
Incorporating external Learning Management Systems (LMS) within Allbound offers administrators the ability to inform users through email notifications, reward gamification points, or seamlessly transfer data to other systems via Zapier or Webhooks.
This functionality is activated when the External LMS integration is enabled. To set up this trigger, select 'User has Completed External Certification' as the trigger condition.
The available merge tags for external certifications include the certification name, expiration date, user's name, and user details of the certification achiever.
The actions allowed for this trigger are:
- Send email
- Send to Zapier
- Advanced Webhook
- Award Gamification Points.
Is Empty / Is Not Empty Trigger Filter Operators
We've added 'Is Empty' / 'Is Not Empty' filter operators to all PJA trigger events to further support specific use cases for increasing partner engagement and communication.
-
Is Empty - The 'Is Empty' trigger operator can be used to trigger a workflow when a specific form field is empty. For example:
- Create a workflow for 'User has Updated MDF Request' with the filters:
- MDF Request Status Equals Approved AND
- MDF Proof of Performance Status Equals Under Review AND
- MDF Event POP 1 Is Empty
- Create a workflow for 'User has Updated MDF Request' with the filters:
to send an email to the MDF Submitter that the POP file attachment is empty with a call to action to attach the file to the MDF Request.
-
Is Not Empty - The 'Is Not Empty' trigger operator can be used to trigger a workflow when a specific form field is not empty. For example:
-
Create a workflow for 'User has Updated MDF Request' with the filters:
- MDF Request Status Equals Approved AND
- MDF Proof of Performance Status Equals Under Review AND
- MDF Event POP 1 Is Not Empty
-
Create a workflow for 'User has Updated MDF Request' with the filters:
to send an email to the Marketing Manager that the POP file is attached with a call to action to review the MDF Request Proof of Performance.
Note: The 'Is Empty' / 'Is Not Empty' filter operators are not available for the following fields:
-
All fields related to a User object. This includes all fields that start with the following patterns in the Filter field dropdown list:
- User <field name>
- Form Source User <field name>
- Content Source User <field name>
- Deal Owner <field name>
- MDF Owner <field name>
- MDF Requester <field name>
- Lead Requester <field name>
The image below is an example of the Deal Owner object that does not have the 'Is Empty' / 'Is Not Empty' filter operators available.
See the PJA Object Merge Tag Glossary to learn more about the objects available in PJA.
-
All fields from the 'Address' form field. For example:
- Street Address
- City
- State / Province
- Zip / Postal Code
- Country
Has Changed / Has Changed To / Has Changed to Empty Trigger Filter Operators
We've introduced new filter options to empower administrators to trigger events when specific fields undergo changes. These options are exclusively available within the 'User Has' trigger for deals, leads, and MDF Request objects and are applicable solely to dropdown field types in forms.
The newly added filter operators are as follows:
- Has Changed: Opting for 'Has Changed' after selecting a filter field indicates that the workflow should be triggered each time the field is modified.
- Has Changed To: Selecting this option after choosing a filter field prompts the user to input a specific value. When this filter is applied, the workflow will be triggered whenever the selected field in a deal, lead, or MDF object is updated to the specified value.
- Has Changed To Empty: If 'Has Changed To Empty' is selected after choosing a filter field, it signifies that the workflow should activate whenever that field is updated and becomes empty.
Award Gamification Points Action
Introducing a new PJA action known as "Award Gamification Points." This feature is now available for the following trigger events:
- Completed a Certification
- Completed External Certification
- Updated a Deal
- Updated MDF Request
With this functionality, administrators can establish workflows to grant gamification points in response to the above events. Here's how it works:
- When a certification event occurs, the Certification User is automatically designated as the recipient of the points.
- In the case of a deal update, the Deal Owner becomes the recipient of the gamification points.
- Similarly, for an updated MDF Request, the MDF Submitter is designated as the recipient of the points.
