Global Search

Enhanced Global Search Logic

The content Global Search logic has been expanded and updated to now search across the following content related fields:

  • Content Title
  • Content Description
  • Content Post Type

Additionally, the logic now includes fuzzy logic to return results that may contain a similar word or a typo.

This feature update will be slowly rolled out to customers over the next few weeks. You may now experience more search results due to the enhanced search logic. 

 

Certifications

Limit Visibility on Certifications

As an administrator, while creating certificates, it is necessary to make sure that certifications are issued to intended users.

To enable this, we have added group visibility on certifications. While creating certificates, admins can select a list of groups.

The users in these groups would be issued the certifications upon completing the attached training.

Any user not part of the group, would not be issued a certification even if they complete the attached training.

Steps to add Group visibility to a certification:

  1. Click on the Settings icon → Click on Training and Certifications.
  2. In the Manage Certification page, click on “ + Certification”.
  3. In the section of Visibility Restriction, multi-select groups that you want to provide access. The groups list contains both static and dynamic groups.

 

Expiration Date of Certification Sync Into CRM

Previously, only the issued date of the certification could be synced into the contact information in the CRM.

We have now enhanced this feature by adding the expiration date to the user object. This means that the expiration date can also be synced into the CRM along with the issue date.

The new information created has the key expiry_date, which can be used to sync the expiration date information into the CRM.

To enable this, the admin will need to create a new field in the contact form within the CRM to accommodate the expiration date information. Once the new field is created, the expiration date can be synced from Allbound into the CRM using Integration Manager.

 

Training Progress

Content Progress Breakdown

The Training Progress table currently shows the overall progress of each learning track, but it does not provide a detailed breakdown of the progress for each individual content within the tracks.

To enhance this, we have now added a detailed breakdown for each content item within the learning tracks.

Users can now click on the progress bar of any learning track in the Training Progress table to open a menu. This menu will display the progress percentage for each individual content item within that track.

 

Gamification 

Max User Points Enforcement

Previously, users could earn up to the set Max User Points in gamification settings within the specified timeframe; however, once redeemed, additional points could continue to be earned up to the limit. For example, if a user earned points up to the limit of 1000 and then redeemed 300 of those points, an additional 300 points could be earned until the limit was once again reached.

 

Users will now only earn up to the specified Max User Points within the timeframe set regardless of redemption (or non-redemption) of points earned. For example, if a user earns points up to the limit of 1000 and then redeems 300 of those points, the user will only have 700 points and will not be able to earn any additional points until the set timeframe has passed.
