Purpose
Incorporating campaign tracking into your lead management process in Salesforce ensures that you have a comprehensive view of how your marketing efforts are impacting your sales pipeline and overall business growth. However, with Allbound's native integration, it cannot search in Salesforce in real-time for a campaign ID that could be automatically attached to the lead. The article explains how Allbound could integrate with a campaign look-up field on leads with Salesforce.
How Allbound Can Help You Track Deal Registrations Sourced From Campaigns
1. Identify how the partner obtains the campaign details and information.
2. Leverage Allbound's content section and playbooks to provide easy access within the portal to provide the partner with the necessary campaign information that needs to be added to a deal reg.
3. Mirror the information provided to the partner on each campaign as individual pieces of content in Allbound. You will need to add the Salesforce 18-digit ID of the campaign that the partner can copy from the piece of content, which will serve as the "Campaign Code".
4. Next, we will create a Yes | No field on the deal registration form for campaign sourced deal registrations.
5. We will add a campaign code field to the deal registration form with conditional logic to make it mandatory if they select "Yes, this deal was sourced from a campaign".
6. The partner will be required to paste the Salesforce 18-digit ID of the campaign into the text field that will map to the campaign look-up field on the lead object in Salesforce.
How This Looks In Real Time
Navigate to Playbooks > Select "Campaigns & Campaign Codes" playbook.
Your partner selects the campaign they're looking for.
They can gather all of the information they need about the campaign here. They will find a link to the deal registration form and the campaign code they need.
The partner copies the campaign code, then selects the link to the deal registration form, which is conveniently all in one place. They paste the campaign code into the field on the deal registration form and register the deal as normal.
The lead that syncs to Salesforce is seamlessly tied to the campaign.
