Purpose

In this article, Allbound Administrator users will learn how to:

  • Add/Edit Content Filters
  • Add/Edit Content Tags

Introduction

When you create pieces of content in your portal, you can apply filter sets and tags. With these filters and tags, you and your partner users will be able to quickly and easily find content in your Content & Resources repository.

Filter sets are unique for each content section in your portal. Filters can be added to these sections:

  • /learn (Training & Pre-Sales)
  • /engage (Content & Resources)
  • /playbooks (Playbooks)
  • /win (Customer Success)
  • /knowledge-base (Knowledge Base)
  • /campaigns (a legacy feature, Campaigns)

Even though your portal is pre-populated with default filters and tags, as an Allbound Administrator user you can add and edit the pre-populated filters and tags.

How to Add/Edit Filters

Please speak with your Implementation Specialist and/or open a support ticket to add and/or rename any of the pre-populated filters. As depicted in the below photo, the filters are in bold lettering. The default filters are "Product," "Category," "Audience," and "Sales Stage."

For the Content & Resources repository, you can have a maximum of 6 filters. For the Training & Pre-Sales repository, you can have a maximum of 4 filters.

Examples of Filters:

  • Type
  • Product
  • Industry
  • Language
  • Region

Tags

Within each filter set, you can decide what tags to include. There is no limit to the number of tags; however, keep in mind the user experience if your list of tags does get long.

*Note: The system does not currently support parent/child tags

How to Add a New Tag

*Note: These steps can be performed by an Allbound Administrator user with the Content and/or System Settings permission(s) enabled

*Note: Follow these steps to add new tags to either the Content & Resources or Training & Pre-Sales repositories

6. Click the "Update (Filter)" button to save your changes

If you do edit an existing tag, that updated tag will remain applied to any content in the system. In your list of tags, the last column shows how many pieces of content that tag is currently applied to. You can also click on the number and the system will display a list of that content.

If a tag is removed, the system will remove that tag from any piece of content and the tag will no longer exist.
