Purpose
This article will instruct Allbound Administrator users how to use our feature, the Content Management Tool. Also listed are frequently asked questions.
Introduction
The Content Management Tool is incredibly powerful for users who manage or interact with content within the Allbound platform. The Content Management Tool allows you to view all pieces of content within the platform in one single place. You can view and/or bulk edit important details about each of your resources, including: visibility settings, sharing settings, content status, etc. Despite the Content Management Tool initially being designed for customers to audit and bulk edit content, it also provides useful insights into partner engagement with specific pieces of content
Where to Access the Content Management Tool
*Note: only Allbound Administrator users from your company with the Content and/or System Settings permission(s) enabled are allowed to use the Content Management Tool
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click "Content Management"
Components of the Content Management Tool
A. Search Bar: search for a specific piece of content within your portal
B. Filter Tags: shows your active filters
C. Select All Checkbox: click this box to select all pieces of content ON CURRENT PAGE. DOES NOT select all pieces of content across all pages
D. Select One Checkbox: click this box to select one piece of content
E. "Action" button: when you select a piece of content from this table (see letters C and D,) the "Action" button will populate. Click here to Bulk Edit, Set Priority, and/or Delete these piece(s) of content
F. "Filters" button: click to narrow-down your results for this table. The filter options are:
- Status - a piece of content's status can be "Published," "Draft," and/or "Archived"
- Learning Tracks - shows which pieces of content are included in your company's published Learning Tracks
- Playbooks - shows which pieces of content are included in your company's published Playbooks
- Group Access - filter by Dynamic or Static Group access
- Last Updated - shows the date when a piece(s) of content was last updated
- Last Viewed - shows the date when a piece(s) of content was last viewed
- Total Actions - filter by user actions (Pin, Like, Add to Playbook, Co-Brand, Share via Email and/or Social, View Content, and View Page)
- Company Access - filter by Company visibility
- Date Created - shows the date when a piece(s) of content were created
- Content Type - filter by content type (Allbound's Content Repositories)
- Sharing - filter by Sharing settings; via email and/or social
- Co-Branding - shows which pieces of content are Co-Brandable
- Main Library - shows if pieces of content are available or hidden in main Content & Resources library
- Media Asset Privacy - shows the privacy settings for the pieces of content (private vs. public)
G. "Columns" button: re-arrange and organize this table by customizing the columns. The column options are:
- Title
- Status
- Learning Tracks
- Playbooks
- Group Access
- Last Updated
- Last Viewed
- Total Actions
- Company Access
- Date Created
- Sharing
- Co-Branding
- Main Library
- Priority
H. "Export" button: export and download this table in .Excel or CSV file format

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is there is a way to bulk remove Group Access for pieces of content?
A. Yes - you can check the box that says "Give Access to All Companies"
Q. With the Content Management Tool, can we filter by pieces of content that have added Gamification points?
A. No. Currently, there is no "Points" column available within this tool.
