Purpose
In this article, Allbound Administrator users will learn how to add a custom email header image to their default portal email notifications. Also listed are our frequently asked questions and our best practices.
Introduction
The Allbound platform will send notifications to you and your users based on user registration, deal management, Partner Journey Automation settings, etc. You can add a custom image that will display in all system notifications.
By default, the system will send notifications that feature your company logo and the image below:
Where to Set Your Email Header Image
*Note: Only Allbound Administrator users with the System Settings permission enabled can change the email header image
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click on "Account Settings"
3. Click on the Emails tab and then scroll down to the Email Customization section
4. Click the "Browse" button next to the Email Header Image field to find an image to upload to the portal
*Note: This will open a modal Upload Media window. You can either add an existing file by clicking on the Media Library tab or add a new image from your computer via drag-and-drop or click "Select File" to choose an image from your computer storage
5. Click the "Save" button in the upper right to save your changes
Best Practices
To choose the best image for your email header image, follow these best practices:

- The recommended dimensions for this image are 580 pixels (w) by 200 pixels (h)
- This image will be included on every notification from the system regardless of the message. Keep your email banner simple and generic enough that it supports your brand, but is not specific to deal registration for example
- If your new image includes your company logo, uncheck the checkbox next to the "Show company logo on emails" field to hide the company logo, if you do not want to have your logo to appear twice
- *Note: If you keep the Email Header Image field blank, and do not upload any image, the keyboard image will be your email header image. See below example image for this blank field:
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I add multiple email header images? Example, one image for Deal Registration emails, one image for User Registration emails, etc.
A. At this time, the Allbound platform supports only one global email header image for all default email notifications
