Purpose
In this article, Allbound Administrator users will learn how to add a custom login image to their portal. Also listed are our best practices.
Introduction
You can customize the background image of your portal's login page. As the front door to your portal, this can be an important element to further support your company's branding.
By default, the login background will be the blue-globe image in the example below:
Where to Set Your Login Screen Image
*Note: Only Allbound Administrator users with the System Settings permission enabled can change the login screen image
1. Login to the Allbound platform
2. Click on the Settings Gear icon in the top toolbar and then click on "Account Settings"
3. Within the General tab, scroll down to the Display Options section
4. Click the "Browse" button next to the Login Page Background field to find an image to upload to the portal
*Note: This will open a modal Upload Media window. You can either add an existing file by clicking on the Media Library tab or add a new image from your computer via drag-and-drop or click "Select File" to choose an image from your computer storage
6. Click the "Save" button in the upper right to save your changes. Now your login image will reflect, see below image:
Best Practices
- To choose the best image for your login screen image, follow these best practices:
- The recommended dimensions for this image are 1240 pixels (w) by 780 pixels (h)
- Keep the image simple and free of text. The portal is responsive and the image can/will be cropped to fit the device that your user is accessing the portal from. You can test your image by adjusting the size of your browser window
- By submitting a support ticket to our Allbound support team, you can move the registration box somewhere else on this page to accommodate your specific login screen image
- *Note: If you keep the Login Page Background field blank, and do not upload any image, the blue-globe image will be your login screen image. See below example image for this blank field:
