Purpose
This article will outline how you may create automated Slack notifications with webhooks within our Allbound feature, Partner Journey Automation. For example purposes, this article will follow a video that uses a workflow for User Has, Updated a Deal, to Closed-Won status
Introduction
Partner Journey Automation is a powerful tool for creating automated workflows to simplify the management of your channel program. Once you create a trigger in Partner Journey Automation, you can choose “Send to Zapier” instead of simply “Send an Email."
Zapier is a powerful business automation platform that will allow you to connect to over 4,000 different applications so that the triggers you create in Allbound can trigger events in thousands of other applications such as Slack, as we will show you in this example.
The video shows you step-by-step, how to leverage the “Send to Zapier” action in Partner Journey Automation in conjunction with Zapier, to create a new Slack notification each time a partner wins a deal. The video will go over a step-by-step demo of how to create your new workflow in Partner Journey Automation, as well as how to create a new Zap from scratch in Zapier.
Remember that Slack notifications are only one example of events that your Partner Journey Automation workflows can kick off in other systems through Zapier. Explore all connected apps in Zapier to discover even more possible automated workflows.
