Use your Brand Colors

The first step to updating your Allbound Portal colors is to consider your brand. If you have a specific branding color that you're happy with, then that's the obvious choice for one of your website colors.

Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Colors

Our best practice suggestion is to follow the 60/30/10 rule. Provide a primary color to use on 60% of the portal, a secondary color t use on 30% and a neutral or accent color for the final 10%.

Ensure your Text and Background Colors Contrast

Use a dark font color on a light background, or a light text on top of a dark background to make text easy to read throughout the portal.

Use Online Tools to Discover or Create Your Color Palette

The Adobe Color Tool makes its easy to create professional-level color palettes. Test different "color rules" and use the color wheel on different combinations.
