Purpose

This article further elaborates upon the partner user roles in the portal for Allbound Administrator users. Allbound Administrator with the Users, Groups, & Companies and/or System Settings permissions may change a partner user's role at any time.

Introduction

In the Allbound portal, partner user roles solely:

  • Dictate the Allbound pipeline visibility hierarchy
  • Dictate the amount of default deal registration notifications
  • Dictate the amount of interaction a partner user may have with the Allbound pipeline table

The partner user roles are:

  • Owner
  • Executive
  • Manager
  • Sales

Sales Role

Within their Allbound pipeline table, a user with a Sales role can only see deals that:

  • They have registered themselves
  • Have been registered on their behalf

Allbound does not allow for lateral pipeline views, so Sales roles cannot see deals registered by other Sales roles.

Example from above image: In his Allbound pipeline table, Michael will only see deals that he registered himself and deals that were registered on his behalf from a user with a Manager and/or Executive role. Michael will not see Mila or Chris's deals in his pipeline table.

Manager Role

Within their Allbound pipeline table, a user with a Manager role can only see deals that:

  • They have registered themselves
  • Have been registered on their behalf
  • All Sales roles deals from the same primary company

Allbound does not allow for lateral pipeline views, so Manager roles cannot see deals registered by other Manager roles.

Example from above image: In his Allbound pipeline table, Joseph will see his own deals and he will see Michael, Mila, and Chris's deals.

Executive Role

Within their Allbound pipeline table, a user with an Executive role can only see deals that:

  • They have registered themselves
  • All Managers roles deals from the same primary company
  • All Sales roles deals from the same primary company

Allbound does not allow for lateral pipeline views, so Executive roles cannot see deals registered by other Executive roles.

Example from above image: In her Allbound pipeline table, Jessica will see her own deals, Joseph's deals, and Michael, Mila, and Chris's deals.

Account Owner Role

The Account Owner role should be reserved for users from your company only. The Account Owner role possesses the highest pipeline table visibility for their primary company and the partner companies they manage without being an Allbound Administrator user. Within their Allbound pipeline table, a user with an Account Owner role can see deals that:

  • They have registered themselves
  • All Executive roles deals from the same primary company AND/OR their associated companies they manage
  • All Manager roles deals from the same primary company AND/OR their associated companies they manage
  • All Sales roles from the same primary company AND/OR their associated companies they manage

Example from above image: In his Allbound pipeline table, Graham will see his own deals, Jessica's deals, Joseph's deals, Michael's deals, Mila's deals, and Chris's deals. If Graham were associated to another company too, he would see all of their Executive, Manager, and Sales roles deals in his pipeline.
